The conference was attended by over 50 people: representatives of partner universities from Uzbekistan, employees of the museum from Uzbekistan and employees of the Lublin University of Technology. 37 papers were presented in English or Russian. The interdisciplinary nature of the conference (IT specialists, historians, museologists) allowed for the exchange of experiences and strengthening the existing cooperation within the 3D Digital Silk Road project.<\/p>\n<p>Parallel to the conference, the multimedia exhibition &#8220;<strong>Uzbekiscanning: LUT&#8217;s Scientific Expeditions 2021&#8243;<\/strong> was presented, organized in the lobby of the Lublin University of Technology Library and presenting the course of scientific and practical expeditions carried out as part of the NAWA &#8220;3D Digital Silk Road&#8221; project (<a href=\"https:\/\/silkroad3d.com\/?page_id=2449\">https:\/\/silkroad3d.com\/?page_id=2449<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the conference, participants learned about the activities of two research laboratories in the Department of Computer Science: <a href=\"https:\/\/lariei.cs.pollub.pl\/\">LARIEI<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.pollub.pl\/lab-3d\/\">LAB 3D<\/a> and the organization of work at the Library of the Lublin University of Technology. At the conference, the signed memorandum of cooperation between the Lublin University of Technology and Urgench State University was officially handed over.
