Turkestan – State historical-cultural reserve-museum “Azret Sultan”
Azret-Sultan Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum was founded in 1978 and reorganized in 1989. There are several historical monuments: the world-famous Mausoleum of Khoja Akhmed Yasawi, Mausoleum of Rabiga Sultan Begim, Hilvet underground mosque, and an ancient bathhouse. The museum displays 25 thousand valuable exhibits. Azret-Sultan Museum remains the most visited museum of Kazakhstan.
