On 7-9.09.2022, a conference was held to summarize the three-year project “3D Digital Silk Road”, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The conference was held in Uzbekistan at three universities – project partners: the National University of Uzbekistan (Tashkent), the State Pedagogical University in Chirchik and the Samarkand State University. The conference was attended by over 50 academic teachers, employees of Uzbekistan museums, doctoral students and students.
At the conference, 31 papers were delivered on the issues of digitization of the cultural heritage of the Silk Road and its history.
The interdisciplinary conference was also a kind of report on the implementation of the “3D Digital Silk Road” project.

The papers presented the results, achievements and problems related to the implementation of the project tasks: digitization of the Silk Road monuments in modern Uzbekistan, scientific cooperation and popularization of monuments on the silkroad3d.com website.
During the conference, a multimedia exhibition “Uzbekiscanning: LUT’s Scientific Expeditions 2022” was presented, presenting the course of scientific and practical expeditions carried out in 2022 as part of the NAWA “3D Digital Silk Road” project.
